2019 ACAA Welcome Back Receptions

 

The Welcome Back Reception series is one of the ACAA’s recurring annual events hosted in China’s three largest cities and possibly other cities across China. These events welcome recent graduates from Australia returning to China.

 

Not only is this a fantastic chance for you to meet with other recent graduates and share experiences, but also a valuable opportunity to hear about recent trends and upcoming hot industries and career paths options in your city. The Australia China Alumni Association and TOEFL® - 2018 Australia China Alumni Awards Presentation Dinner was held in the Westin Beijing Chaoyang Hotel on 24th November and was a great success!

 

The Awards would not have been successful without support from our alumni, our universities partners, our corporate sponsors and our other stakeholders! We would like to thank every single one of you for all the attention and support over the last few months.

2018 Australia China Alumni Awards
Winner Announced in Beijing
 
The Australia China Alumni Association and TOEFL® – 2018 Australia China Alumni Awards Presentation Dinner was held last Saturday (24th November) at the Westin Chaoyang Hotel in Beijing. Over 200 guests attended to celebrate the 10-year milestone of these Awards, including outstanding alumni, senior Australian government officials and university representatives, and representatives from the Australia-China corporate community. As Patron of the ACAA, HE Ms Jan Adams, the Australian Ambassador to the P.R.China, welcomed all the attendees and eight superb winners were awarded for their incredible achievements and contributions to the Australia-China relationship and alumni community.

Alumni Meeting Dr Stephanie Fahey,
CEO of Austrade in Guangzhou

With her wealth of academic experience, Dr Stephanie Fahey, Austrade’s first female Chief Executive Officer, values the Australia-China network and the opportunities which come with it. On 2nd November, the City of Rams welcomed Dr Fahey with warm weather and sunshine, as Austrade and the Australia China Alumni Association (ACAA) hosted an alumni reception at the office of CPA Australia - South China, with close to 30 established alumni invited.
 
ACAA had the pleasure of hosting together with Austrade, and invited finalists and winners of previous Australia China Alumni Awards, as well as ACAA mentors who represent a great cross-section of industries to attend this event and converse with Dr Fahey.
