Ms. Ada Wong
Murdoch Univeristy Alumna
Director of Shenzhen U Design

‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.’  - Holy Bible - Proverbs 9:10

Ada Wong is currently the Director of U Design in Shenzhen, a Member of Council on the Shenzhen Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and a Certified Management Consultant of the Institute of Management Consultants in Hong Kong.

Since immigrating to Hong Kong in 1997, Ada has worked as Administration Deputy Director at Glory Sun Group-Jeanswest International (HK) Ltd. (1998-2012), and as Vice President of HR at Shenzhen Fuanna Bedding and Furnishing Co., Ltd. (2013). She later started her own company in Germany, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen. In 2000, Ada received her MBA from Australia’s Murdoch University.

While Ada worked as Administration Deputy Director at Jeanswest International (HK) Ltd., Jeanswest had over ten branch companies and 5,000 stores. Within the last 15 years, Ada has gained experience in HR and Administration, and Logistics Operational Management.

The Bible verse: love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres (Corinthians 13:7) always guides Ada’s values in life and work. She is currently writing a book, ‘Management + Bible’, to share her enlightenment from the Bible, as well as her 20 years’ work experience in China, her travel experiences from across 50 countries, and her ten years’ life experience in Germany.

Facing the great opportunities and challenges in China’s market, Ada uses the “USA Baldrige Excellence Framework” to manage her company, but she believes that her faith and higher mission determines whether or not her enterprises are sustainable.

‘But humility comes before honor’ - Proverbs 18:12

When asked why she joined the 2018 ACAA Mentor Program, Ada said that quite simply, she is a Christian, and young people need help. Though in old Asian philosophies, often the most straightforward answers have the most varied meanings.
